Ethan, I can’t believe another month has passed. In an effort to get caught up on blogging, I am just going to list out the stuff I don’t want to forget, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t loved every minute of you in our lives any less. During your third month you:
- Weighed 15 pounds, 10 ounces. Unfortunately, we only know that because you got your first cold/slight fever which lead to an impromptu doctor visit while we were in Colorado.
- Have started talking and laughing like crazy. We are loving it and loving seeing those cute dimples of yours.
- Still not on the best schedule, but all of our travel has had something to do with that. Either way you are still only getting up twice during the night (most of the time), so I can’t complain. If we can just stop Noah from getting up two DIFFERENT times during the night that would really help us out J.
- Went to Colorado for the first time and loved being outside.
- Have started doing this thing where you move just your head (as opposed to the rest of your body) and move it back and forth to where you look like a turtle. It is Noah’s new favorite thing to watch you do it and yell “Turtle . . Turtle”.
- Still eat about 4 ounces every three hours but are getting a lot harder to feed. I actually feel bad when someone offers to give you your bottle because you don't sit still at all. It is almost like you aren't hungry, but then start screaming when we stop feeding you. Once you either (i) get the gas out or (ii) get in the position you want, you eat like a champ.
- Slept in your crib for the first time. A couple days before you were 3 months old we put you in your crib, and you did great. You still sleep in your nap nanny though, but you are finally in your own room.
- Are starting to acknowledge your name and are LOVING Noah. You smile like crazy when he comes close to you, talks to you, or kisses you. This melts my heart.
- Still have two nicknames rights – Buddy (or Buggy) Boo and Little Pickle.
