Happy Half Birthday Ethan

We celebrated Ethan's half birthday on December 27. We normally just do cupcakes or cookies, but this year Brook made a fabulous Carrot Cake. Ben's mom and him always celebrated half birthdays, so we are caring on the tradition. Happy Birthday sweet boy!

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas from the Kerr boys!!!

The Kerr boys must have been extra special this year because they got some great gifts from Santa. Noah got a McQueen airplane and the Mac truck he wanted. Ethan got a kid's piano and the Play Along Puppy. We a wonderful relaxing day at my parent's house and celebrated being together.

Christmas Eve!

On Christmas Eve, we did our usual and headed over to Denton and Michelle's house for soups, good wine, and stollen (my absolute favorite)!!. We also decorated the Charlie Brown Christmas tree outside again. Below is our photo shoot at my parents' house before we left.

Christmas Adventures

We spent the holidays in D.C. and Virginia Beach again this year. We want back to the Gaylord Hotel since my grandparents didn't come with last year. Ben and Brooke took Noah back to the ice exhibit. "Shrek the Halls" was the theme this year, and again, they did an amazing job.

We spent some time shopping around the town, enjoying the Christmas decorations at the hotel, and taking in the scenery.

"Hey cutie!"

This was the best family picture we could get.
You should have seen how many it took to get here.
We spent a couple of days in the city and of course hit up Cactus Cantina for dinner. On the way down to the Beach, we went to the Christmas Festival at Busch Gardens. Noah's favorite part was riding all the rides, but he also loved the Sesame Street Christmas play as well. Unfortunately, it was a lot colder this year, so we had to head out pretty early. We hit up our pizza place for dinner on our way out. It was a fun weekend!

Cutest Little Elf

Speaking of elves, this has to be the cutest elf out there . . .

We started the Christmas break, at Will & Nicole's house with a little dress up and a cookie cake to celebrate Uncle Willy and Aunt B's birthday.

Baseball Elf

As you may recall, Baseball Elf came to visit Noah and Ethan while we were in Colorado a couple of days before Thanksgiving. Noah got his Elf when he was two and at that time baseball was one of his favorite things, so that is how are elf got his name. This year we watched the movie about the Elves on the Shelves, so every once in awhile he started calling his Chippy just like the movie. We will see what he calls him next year.

This year Baseball elf wasn't so sweet and innocent. He got into a little bit of trouble himself. Noah loved it of course. Here is Baseball elf and his shenanigans.

Sweet and innocent in the Christmas tree . .

Eating Noah's cereal and making a mess . . .

Wrapping Uncle Willy and Aunt Coley's Christmas tree . . .

And taking a bubble bath in the sink . . .

We will see what this elf gets into next year!!
