I still can't believe that our little boy is 3!! He basically is a little man, now. A couple of months ago (prior to him turning 3- yes we are a little late), his Nana took him to get his 3 year old pictures taken. Rosie Toes, Lindsay Rosenbaum, took some great pictures. Below are few of our favorites:
Of course, Noah is still full of energy. He prefers to run, play, and jump instead of anything that involves sitting down. At the same time, he is still a very affectionate little boy. He loves hugs, kisses, wants his back scratched at night, and has started telling me that is "cute or pretty, momma" when I get dressed in the morning (tear :)). He is still not a huge fan of sleeping, and this generally remains a battle, but I have come to except that our little man just does not need a lot of sleep. He loves wearing his pajamas though and could stay in them all day if you'd let him.
Between 2-3, Noah started talking a lot more, and his speech has gotten a lot better. He knows all his letters, numbers (1-30), shapes, colors, etc. Every evening he loves to read and we have started writing as well (I’m convinced he’s going to be an abstract artist). Now, we are also working on spelling short, simple words and he enjoys learning how to spell everyone's names.
Some of Noah’s 2 to 3 year milestones included:
· Potty Training - now he is such a pro, he goes by himself (as long as the light is on).
· We got rid of the Wazi (pacifier). This was a huge battle. When he turned one, we (tried) only let him have it while he was sleeping which wasn't too hard. However, when he turned two, it was more difficult to eliminate completely.
· Yeah, he finally got all his teeth. This little dude took a long time for his teeth to come in. The last one finally came through at 26 months.
· Yes, he learned how to ride a big boy bike which is a bigger deal than you can imagine.

Currently Noah loves -
· Anything that involves being outside, if he's not watching Cars 1 or 2!!!! Needless to say, we should own Disney stock by now. Anyway, he could be outside all day if you'd let him. Riding his bike is one of his favorite things.
· He loves all sports whether playing them, watching them, or going to a game. His favorites right now are baseball, soccer, and bowling.
· Mickey Mouse has made a huge comeback, in our household, as one of his favorites shows right now. He continues to like Dinosaur Train, Super Why, and Seseame Street.
· His favorite foods are Chicken nuggets (specifically Chick Fil A- thanks Aunt Coley), waffles, orange chips as he calls them (we call them Doritos), apple sauce, bananas, broccoli, and ice cream.
· He loves to wear shorts. I know this sounds funny, but thank goodness it is starting to get hot because putting pants or jeans on everyday has been huge battle in the Kerr House.
· Also, he's developed some friendships at school. He actually enjoys going now (for the most part) so that he can particularly play with Max, Lance, and Lucas. He loves these boys and talks about them everyday. By him wanting “that may be a stretch" to go to school, certainly helps the start to our days.
· Anything to do with water. The pool, the bathtub, the water hose, anything. Noah loves it!
· Cars, trucks, and planes, naturally. He is all boy when it comes to this. With all the toys he has, the train set and the cars are generally what he plays with 90% of the time.

Noah is still not a big fan of -
Milk or anything dairy besides ice cream. We are working on this.
He does not like the dark or his door to be closed at night.
He is not a fan of birds or fireworks. Actually, he likes the actually display of fireworks, just not the loud noises. The birds things is kind of weird. We are not sure what happened, but all of a sudden one day he started talking about being scared of birds. You just tend to go with it sometimes.
He is still not a huge fan of his car seat or a stroller. Honestly, he just doesn't like sitting still at all. Feel free to come out to dinner with us, and you can experience it :).

Noah,
Dada and Momma love you more than you can imagine. Someday soon, :) this will probably embarrass you. You have given us more joy and expanded our hearts to places we did not know existed. We know we had them (I think?), but we don't remember what our lives were like without you. God gave us the greatest surprise of all, your creation. Needless to say, we are so grateful and blessed to be your parents. Hopefully, you continue to share the same sentiment later on in life :).You light up a room with your smile, your infectious laughter, and your energy. We pray these qualities stay with you for the rest of your life and you utilize them to benefit those around you. We can't wait to watch you grow!
Love,
Dada and Momma
