Halloween Festivities Part II

October was filled with our own fun family Halloween activities as well. We started by carving pumpkins. Needless to say, this was not Noah's favorite. He liked watching, but he didn't want anything to do with touching the inside of the pumpkin. Basically, he would just watch us and say "ewww" every time Ben and I pulled the insides out.

Daddy and Noah carving their pumpkin.

First time sticking his hand in. He didn't do this again.

Such a pumpkin! EWWWWW

Don't judge our carving. This was our first year. Next year will be better. I hope :).

The next night, we made Halloween cookies, cooked chili, and watched Charlie Brown's Halloween (not Daddy's favorite movie). The cookies were a huge hit though!

About to start decorating!

Noah and his masterpieces (cookies).

And of course the first bite is the best!
Finally, it was Halloween. We started out at our neighborhood Halloween party, did some trick or treating, and then passed out candy. Noah thought passing out the candy was the best. We had a wonderful, fun Halloween.  Thankfully, we are all in good hands. Superman saved Halloween. And of course, I just have to say that he is the cutest Superman out there!!

Passing out candy.
After we ran out of candy, we turned the lights out and celebrated with Cookie Cake!!! A household favorite with the Kerr's.

This is a video of Noah thanking his Papa and Mimi for his cookie cake. Watch his leg. Do you think he had too much sugar that day!!

Happy Halloween! Hope every one's was as great as ours.

Halloween Festivities Part I

October was filled with fun Halloween activities. We started with a visit to "Zoo Boo". This is Houston Zoo's version of celebrating Halloween. There were pumpkin decorating, trick or treating, a costume parade, and much more. We had a great afternoon!

The next weekend we visited Dewberry Farms, which is a fun pumpkin patch outside of Houston, with some of Noah's friends from school. Noah loved the playground, race cars, and pig races.

The slide was his favorite!

Later that week, Noah had his school parade and party. Superheros were very popular!

Spider-Man (Max) and Superman. They obviously were very excited to get their picture taken.

Party Time! The cookies were a favorite.
The Sunday before Halloween, we had a lot of fun at Greg & Saylor's Halloween Party. It was an awesome party. There were balloon animals, bounce houses, slides, and a taco truck (wago) for dinner. The food was a fantastic idea, by the way. We had such a great time.

Pumpkin Pictures

Kate has finally got her photography business up and running, and the weekend of Halloween she took some fabulous pictures of Noah at the pumpkin patch (not that she didn't take great pictures before she started her business). Check out her website here.

She did an awesome job. We got so many good pictures! Below are some of my favorites. Unfortunately, Ben got stuck at work, so he didn't get to join in. Hope you enjoy!!
